I strongly encourage you all to visit the Aang Ain’t White website and movement. Good as this trailer looks, there are still so many horrible casting decisions that have been made that we should not just sit quietly and take it. But I do admit it looks very good.

Alright, let’s see, how to word this? Oh, yeah… THEY DON’T HAVE A SINGLE ASIAN CAST FOR AVATAR. Yep, that sounds about right. My FAVORITE character, Uncle Iroh, was just cast by this thin IRANIAN man. That is an OUTRAGE!! Uncle Iroh is definitely of a strong Asian descent, and he’s, well, not thin! Oh, and Ozai? A New Zealander. Commander Zhao? He’s Indian. I don’t see a SINGLE Japanese, Chinese, Korean, or even Pacific Islander for crying out loud! THERE AREN’T A MILLION MIDDLE EASTERNERS IN AVATER!! GAH!!!!

Alright guys, I’m off! Until Saturday that is. I’m going up to LA with my Orchestra to compete in a NATIONAL competition. It’s a special invitational because we’re awesome… or just because we scored 4th and 1st in two previous national competitions. But is there really a difference? Anyway, I won’t be here to answer any emails/update/moderate comments at all until after Saturday. I’ll be sure to keep the ideas flowing however, and I’ll see you all in a few days! Wish me luck!!

New feature for all my loyal fans! Any of you who have been fans of my literary Fiction – I’ve got good stuff coming your way!
First off, a big, warm welcome to my sister Yellow Sagasaki, joining us as an administrator! You may not know this, but I will be on hiatus for two years starting this September (it’s OK, no need to cry!) I will be serving my church for two years as a missionary, hopefully in a foreign country, but happily going wherever I’m called. During that time, Yellow will be taking full control of the Twilight Plains until my return. (Not to worry, I’ll still be keeping all of you up to date through Yellow on my adventures!) Until then and after, we’ll be sharing the responsibility (which hopefully will mean double the posts and four times the excitement!)
And now, on to the good news! As a welcome to my sis, we’re putting up a brand new set of pages! The project is titled “The Sagasaki Family Fiction”, and will feature an extensive gallery of photography, art, and my favorite, literature! From the beginning, Fiction has been the foundation and the reason behind the Twilight Plains. And now, we’re bringing the best of it to you!
